FITNESS

It's hard to really enjoy the outdoors if you're not in good physical condition. Fitness starts with good nutrition. That's the foundation. Then you can begin to train specifically for fitness you need for the outdoor sport you want to pursue.

The take-away? I drink more water than I use to. I spend more on organic foods, but less on store bought prepared foods. I cook more. I eat more raw fruits and vegetables. I’m increasing what I grow in our garden. Home grown organic foods are good for you. I go a little easier on the salt and sugar. I’m cutting back a little on the pie and ice cream and filling up more on stuff that has more vitamins and minerals.
